Do you have a job? Looking for extra elective credits? Well, Eastside’s Work Experience Program can give you everything you need to get those extra credits.
 Evaluations are given at work.
• Students gain exposure to the workplace.
• Students develop skills which promote enhanced self esteem.
• Students become more financially responsible.
• Students learn more about your rights has an employee
• And much, much more!!
Students that take work experience must be at least sixteen years of age or older. Students that work 100 hours a semester will earn a total of 5 credits; 200 hours in a semester will earn them 10 credits. That is 5 extra credits possible per semester. In addition, the work experience class allows you to work up to 40 hours a week. A regular work permit only allows up to 25 hours a week.   Visit Ms. Coleman in room 234 before school on Tuesdays or Thursdays for more information.
